The 25th Chaffee Gatheringalso looms large this month (July 15-16) with a killer lineup. While the Breakfast and Big Leg Emma co-headline, don't overlook the engaging Low Dogs, which features former Recipe members Chris Q. and Kris Kehr. Q., of course, also played in Hypnotic Clambake.
For this show, they'll welcome a special guest, banjo phenom Billy Constable, who's played with all sorts of folks, including Doug Dillard.
Also appearing at Chaffee: funk band Dynamic Stew, People of Earth, JiMiller Band, Midnight Riders, Starfish, Mambo, Spooner, Blues Cats, Smoke Break, Cosmic Squeeze, Evolution Circus, and Channel 4.
Tickets are $25 in advance through July 12 at Grasshopper and Earthshine. After that, the price climbs to $30. Chaffee Fest unfolds in Girard. Check www.velocity.net/~theparty for details.

It mentions the special guest that will be on hand at the party. Good stuff. I will cut it out and copy it for you guys. | | posted 6/30/2005 2:09:07 PM |

The garden is shaping up nicely, so I'll probably be using more leafy greens, white bread, and kobi beef the next time I decide to turn myself into a sammich.
The midgets are doing a good job of eating the weeds and grass. Those little stunted bastards can really chew down a stalk! Of course all of the illegal mexicans and guatamalans in my neighborhood are pissed about my slave labor wages, but they can go to el hell, or swim home. I don't work with unions.
Well, the wife has a "Save the Trees, Eat a Beaver" bumper sticker affixed to her ass, so I'm gonna sign-off and go eat some beaver.
G'night.

Matter of fact, I never even transferred that DAT yet. Ran out of the board at a place called The Crash Mansion. He's surely a treat for all! Peace, Todd | | posted 6/29/2005 4:59:38 PM |

I bribed Woodward and Bernstein with backstage passes to the Our Fest, a 30-pack of reddog, and some bubble-gum flavored camel cigarettes.
I was completely disappointed when I found out it was Felt. I had my money on Jane Fonda. The vegas line was 100:1.
